Everyone has the right to a standard of living adequate for the health and well-being of himself and his family. This includes the right to adequate food, closing, housing, medical care & necessary social services, the right to security in the event of unemployment, sickness, disability, widowhood, old age or other lack of livelihood in circumstances beyond one’s control. (Article 25, UDHR)
Governments should take appropriate measures to ensure the progressive realization of these rights. (Article 11)
For a dignified life; food, closing, housing, medical care & necessary social services shall be affordable and accessible to all without any discrimination.
