IDPs, Refugees & Migrants Rights

As Ethiopia is one of the largest refugee hosting countries in the world, has a significant population of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and is a source, transit and destination for many migrants, ensuring the promotion, respect and protection of the rights of refugees, IDPs and migrants is one of the critical priorities.

The key strategic intervention areas include research and advocacy; empowerment of vulnerable communities to claim their rights; monitoring compliance with national and international standards as well as partnership with stakeholders to advance the rights agenda as well as protection needs of these segments of society.
