Preliminary Human Rights Monitoring Report of the Pre-Election Phase of the 7th General Elections

The objective of EHRC’s human rights monitoring during elections is to assess the extent to which human rights are respected throughout the electoral process; to promote timely remedial measures where violations occur; and to document good practices and challenges identified during the process, with a view to strengthening the protection of human rights in future elections. Accordingly,  EHRC conducted monitoring of the pre-election phase in line with its strategic priority for the 7th General Elections.
