Rights of Persons with Disabilities and the Rights of Older Persons

With an estimated 17.6% of the population who live with some form of disability and limited protections for the elderly, ensuring the promotion, respect and protection of disability rights and the rights of older persons is of paramount importance and priority.

With a combination of effective research, advocacy and catalyzing collaboration among stakeholders, we seek to promote awareness to the multi-pronged vulnerabilities facing these important segments of society; bring the issues to the forefront of the national policy agenda and promote legal and institutional reform consistent with international human rights standards for the full enjoyment of human rights by persons with disabilities and older persons.
