አባል ሀገራት አካል ጉዳተኞች በመረጧቸው የመገናኛ ዘዴ ዐይነቶች ሁሉ መረጃን የመፈለግ፣ የመቀበል እና የማሰራጨት ነጻነትን ጨምሮ ከሌሎች ጋር በእኩልነት ሐሳብን በነጻነት የመያዝ እና የመግለጽ መብቶቻቸውን መጠቀም እንዲችሉ ተገቢውን ሁሉ እርምጃ ሊወስዱ ይገባል
ይህን ስምምነት የተቀበሉ ሀገራት በገጠር ሴቶች ላይ የሚደረግ አድሎአዊ ልዩነት በማጥፋት ሴቶች ከወንዶች እኩል በገጠር ልማት እንቅስቃሴ ውስጥ እንዲሳተፉና ከዚሁም ተጠቃሚ እንዲሆኑ ለማድረግ ተገቢውን እርምጃ ሁሉ ይወስዳሉ

አባል ሀገራት ለየትኛውም ዓይነት የማኅበራዊ ዋስትና አገልግሎት አስተዋጾ ለማድረግ ዕድል ላላገኙ አረጋያን የገቢ ዋስትናን ለማረጋገጥ የሚያስችል ሁሉን አቀፍ የማኅበራዊ ጥበቃ አገልግሎት ሥርዓት መዘርጋቱን ማረጋገጥ ግዴታ አለባቸው
ማንኛውም አእምሮው ወይም አካሉ የተጎዳ ሕፃን ከመንፈሳዊና ከአካላዊ ፍላጐቱ ጋር የተጣጣመ እንዲሁም ክብሩን የሚያረጋግጥ፣ በራስ መተማመኑንና በኅብረተሰቡ ውስጥ ያለውን ተሳትፎ የሚያሳድግ የተለየ የጥበቃ እርምጃ ተጠቃሚ የመሆን መብት አለው
