በኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) አዘጋጅነት ከ2014 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ የሚካሄደው ይህ ዓመታዊ ፊልም ፌስቲቫል በእ.ኤ.አ. ታኅሣሥ 10 የሚውለውን ዓለም አቀፉ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ቀን የሚያስብ ነው

በ2016 ዓ.ም. በኅዳር 30 ቀን የሚውለው ዓለም አቀፉ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ቀን (December 10) የዓለም አቀፉ የሰብአዊ መብቶች መግለጫ (Universal Declaration of Human Rights) 75ኛ ዓመት የሚታሰብበት በመሆኑ ልዩ ያደርገዋል

The 2023 edition of the Commission’s Human Rights Film Festival focuses on the rights to life and adequate housing. This year's celebration of International Human Rights Day on December 10 is particularly significant, as it marks the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
