Regarding the video circulating on social media showing the beating and killing of men by law enforcement officers, EHRC wishes to confirm that this is one of the incidents investigated and documented in its report on the killing of at least 50 civilians in Gambella City by the regional security forces from June 14-16, 2022. EHRC continues to follow up with relevant regional and federal authorities on accountability measures.
