አባል ሀገራት ለአካል ጉዳተኞች የፖለቲካ መብቶችን እና በእነዚህ መብቶች ከሌሎች ጋር በእኩልነት የመጠቀም ዕድልን ያረጋግጣሉ። እንዲሁም የመምረጥና የመመረጥ መብትና ዕድልን ጨምሮ አካል ጉዳተኞች በቀጥታ ወይም በነጻነት በተመረጡ ተወካዮች አማካኝነት በፖለቲካና በሕዝባዊ ሕይወት ውስጥ ከሌሎች ጋር በእኩልነት ውጤታማ እና የተሟላ ተሳትፎ ማድረግ መቻላቸውን ያረጋግጣሉ
States Parties shall guarantee to persons with disabilities political rights and the opportunity to enjoy them on an equal basis with others, and shall undertake to ensure that persons with disabilities can effectively and fully participate in political and public life on an equal basis with others
ማንኛውም ሰው በፍርድ ሊወሰን የሚገባውን ጉዳይ ለፍርድ ቤት ወይም ለሌላ በሕግ የዳኝነት ሥልጣን ለተሰጠው አካል የማቅረብና ውሳኔ ወይም ፍርድ የማግኘት መብት አለው
Everyone has the right to bring a justiciable matter to, and to obtain a decision or judgement by, a court of law or any other competent body with judicial power
አባል ሀገራት ሐሳብ ለማመንጨት ችሎታ ያለው ማንኛውም ሕፃን በሚመለከተው ጉዳይ ሁሉ ሐሳቡን በነጻነት የመግለጽ መብቱን ያረጋግጣሉ። ሕፃኑ የሚያቀርበው ሐሳብ ዕድሜውና በአእምሮ የመብሰል ሁኔታው እየታየ ተገቢው ክብደት ይሰጠዋል
States Parties shall assure to the child who is capable of forming his or her own views the right to express those views freely in all matters affecting the child, the views of the child being given due weight in accordance with the age and maturity of the child
ሁሉም ሕዝብ ለእድገቱ አመቺ የሆነ አጠቃላይ ተስማሚነት ያለው አካባቢ የማግኘት መብት አለው
All people shall have the right to a general satisfactory environment favourable to their development
አረጋውያን በማንኛውም መጠለያ፣ መንከባከቢያ ወይም የድጋፍ ማእከል ውስጥ በሚኖሩበት ጊዜ ሰብአዊ መብቶቻቸው እና መሠረታዊ ነጻነቶቻቸው ሊረጋገጡላቸው ይገባል፤ይህም ስለሚደረግላቸው እንክብካቤ እና ስለሕይወታቸው ሁኔታ የመወሰን መብታቸውን እንዲሁም ክብራቸውን፣ እምነታቸውን፣ ፍላጎቶቻቸውን እና ግላዊ ሕይወታቸውን ሙሉ በሙሉ ማክበርን ይጨምራል።
Older Persons should be able to enjoy human rights and fundamental freedoms when residing in any shelter, care or treatment facility, including full respect for their dignity, beliefs, needs and privacy and for the right to make decisions about their care and quality of their lives
