ተዋዋይ ሀገራት የማናቸውም ዐይነት የእንክብካቤ እጦት፣ ብዝበዛ፣ ያልተገባ አያያዝ፣ ማሰቃየት ወይም ሌላ ማናቸውም ዐይነት ጭካኔ የተሞላበት፣ ኢ-ሰብአዊ የሆነ ወይም ክብርን የሚያዋርድ አያያዝ ወይም ቅጣት ወይም የትጥቅ ግጭት ሰለባ የሆነን ሕፃን በአካልና በሥነ ልቦና ከደረሰበት ጉዳት እንዲያገግምና ከኅብረተሰቡ ጋር እንዲቀላቀል ለማድረግ ተገቢውን እርምጃ ይወስዳሉ

States Parties shall take all appropriate measures to promote physical and psychological recovery and social reintegration of a child victim of any form of neglect, exploitation, or abuse; torture or any other form of cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment; or armed conflicts

የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ምክትል ዋና ኮሚሽነር ራኬብ መሰለ ቀደም ባሉት ዓመታት ሕፃናት አድን በተባለው መንግሥታዊ ያልሆነ ዓለም አቀፍ ድርጅት በእስያ፣ ምዕራብ እና ማዕከላዊ አፍሪካ ውስጥ ባሉ ከ16 የሚበልጡ ሀገራት በልጆች መብት አማካሪነት አገልግለዋል

አባል ሀገራት የሕፃናትን የመማር መብት ሙሉ በሙሉ እውን ለማድረግ ሁሉንም ተገቢ እርምጃዎች ይወስዳሉ። በተለይም በትምህርት ቤት ተገኝቶ ትምህርትን በቋሚነት መከታተልን ለማበረታታት እንዲሁም የተማሪዎችን ትምህርት የማቋረጥ ምጣኔ ለመቀነስ እርምጃዎችን መውሰድ አለባቸው

States Parties shall take all appropriate measures with a view to achieving the full realization of every child’s right to education and shall in particular take measures to encourage regular attendance at schools and the reduction of drop-out rate

ማንኛውም ሕፃን ጉልበቱን ከሚበዘብዙ ልማዶች የመጠበቅ፤ በትምህርቱ፣ በጤናውና በደኅንነቱ ላይ ጉዳት የሚያደርሱ ሥራዎችን እንዲሠራ ያለመገደድ ወይም ከመሥራት የመጠበቅ መብት አለው

Every child has the right not to be subjected to exploitative practices, neither to be required nor permitted to perform work which may be hazardous or harmful to his or her education, health or wellbeing

ሕፃናትን ጨምሮ ሰዎችን ከሕግ ውጪ የያዙ እና ገንዘብ እንዲከፍሉ ያስገደዱ የክልሉ መንግሥት የአስተዳደር እና የጸጥታ አካላት ላይ የተሟላ ምርመራ በማድረግ ተጠያቂነት ሊረጋገጥ ይገባል

EHRC participated in the 44th Ordinary Session of African Committee of Experts on the Rights and Welfare of the Child (ACERWC) in Maseru, Lesotho

በሰብአዊ መብቶች መርሖችና ድንጋጌዎች የተቃኘ አያያዝ በወንጀል ነክ ነገር ውስጥ ገብተው የተገኙ ሕፃናት በመልካም ባሕሪ ታንጸው ወደ ማኅበረሰቡ እንዲቀላቀሉ አስፈላጊ ነው
