የኢትዮጵያ ሰብዓዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) ለአምስት ዓመታት በአማራ፣ ኦሮሚያ፣ ሶማሌ እና የቀድሞ ደቡብ ብሔር ብሔረሰቦችና ሕዝቦች ክልሎች ያካሄደውን የዜጎች ነጻነት የተመለከተ ብሔራዊ ምርመራ ይፋ አደረገ

የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ከሚያዝያ 2010 ዓ.ም. እስከ ሚያዝያ 2015 ዓ.ም. ባሉት አምስት ዓመታት ነጻነታቸውን በተነፈጉ ሰዎች መብቶች ዙሪያ በአራት ክልሎች ባከናወናቸው 4 ብሔራዊ ምርመራ /National Inquiry/ የተገኙ ዋና ዋና ግኝቶችን እና ምክረ ሐሳቦችን ያጠናቀረ ባለ 130 ገጽ ሪፖርት ዛሬ ይፋ አድርጓል

It is necessary to ensure victims aspirations and needs are reflected in the transitional justice process

የሥራ ፍልሰት አስተዳደር ሥርዓት ሰብአዊ መብቶችን ማዕከል ያደረገ ደኅንነቱ የተጠበቀ፣ መደበኛና በሥርዓት የሚመራ ሊሆን ይገባል

የፌዴራል እና የክልል መንግሥታት ነጻነታቸውን የተነፈጉ ሰዎች ሰብአዊ መብቶች ጥሰቶችን ለማስቆም፣ በጥሰቶች ተሳታፊ የሆኑ አጥፊዎችን ተጠያቂ ለማድረግ እና ለተጎጂዎች ተገቢ የሆነውን የካሳ ሥርዓት ለመዘርጋት ቁርጠኛ ሊሆኑ ይገባል

ሁሉም የሰው ልጆች እኩል ክብርና መብቶች ይዘው ነጻ ሆነው ተፈጥረዋል

All human beings are born free and equal in dignity and rights

ሰዎች ሁሉ በፍርድ ቤቶችና በዳኝነት አካላት ፊት በእኩልነት ይታያሉ። ማንኛውም ሰው በቀረበበት የወንጀል ክስም ሆነ ስለ መብቶቹ እና ግዴታዎቹ በሚወሰንበት ማንኛውም ጉዳይ በሕግ በተቋቋመ፣ ሥልጣን ባለው፣ በነጻና ገለልተኛ የዳኝነት አካል ፍትሐዊ እና ግልጽ በሆነ ችሎት የመዳኘት መብት አለው

All persons shall be equal before the courts and tribunals. In the determination of any criminal charge against him, or of his rights and obligations in a suit at law, everyone shall be entitled to a fair and public hearing by a competent, independent and impartial tribunal established by law

The panel, including EHRC's Commissioner for Women, Children, Older Persons, and Disability Rights Rigbe Gebrehawaria Hagos, emphasised the importance of international solidarity and collective action in ensuring equal opportunities for all.
