ዓለም አቀፍ የሴቶችን ቀን በምናስብበበት በዚህ ወር ውስጥ ሕገወጥ የሰዎች ዝውውርና ድንበር ማሻገር በሴቶችና ሕፃናት ላይ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ጥሰት እያደረሰ በመሆኑ ምላሽ ለመስጠት የሚደረጉ ጥረቶችን ውጤታማ ለማድረግ በጋራ መስራት አስፈላጊነትን ማስታወስ ተገቢ ነው
የሰብአዊ መብቶችን በማስከበር ረገድ ሚና ያላቸው የሰብአዊ መብቶች ተቋማት እንዲሁም በሰብአዊ መብቶች ዙሪያ የሚሠሩ መንግሥታዊ ያልሆኑ ተቋማትም በሴት የሰብአዊ መብት ተሟጋቾች ላይ የሚፈጸሙ የመብት ጥሰቶች ላይ መረጃ የመሰብሰብ፣ የክትትል ሥራዎች እና ጥሰቶችን የማጋለጥ ሥራዎች መስራት አለባቸው።

የሥርዓተ-ፆታ እኩልነት በሴቶች እና በወንዶች መካከል መድልዎ የሚከለክልና በሁሉም የሕይወት ዘርፎች እኩል መሆናቸውን የሚያረጋግጥ፤ ሁሉም ሰዎች ያለምንም ልዩነት በሕግ ፊት እኩል እንደሆኑና እኩል የሕግ ጥበቃ ሊደረግላቸው የሚገባ መሆኑን የሚያመላክት መሰረታዊ የሰብአዊ መብቶች መርህ ነው፡፡
