የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ምክትል ዋና ኮሚሽነር ራኬብ መሰለ ቀደም ባሉት ዓመታት ሕፃናት አድን በተባለው መንግሥታዊ ያልሆነ ዓለም አቀፍ ድርጅት በእስያ፣ ምዕራብ እና ማዕከላዊ አፍሪካ ውስጥ ባሉ ከ16 የሚበልጡ ሀገራት በልጆች መብት አማካሪነት አገልግለዋል
አባል ሀገራት አካል ጉዳተኛ ሴቶችና ሴት ልጆች ለተደራራቢ አድልዎ የተዳረጉ መሆናቸውን ዕውቅና ይሰጣሉ፤ ይህንንም ከግንዛቤ በማስገባት በሁሉም ሰብአዊ መብቶችና መሠረታዊ ነጻነቶች ሙሉ እና እኩል ተጠቃሚ መሆናቸውን ለማረጋገጥ እርምጃዎችን ይወስዳሉ
States Parties recognize that women and girls with disabilities are subject to multiple discrimination, and in this regard shall take measures to ensure the full and equal enjoyment by them of all human rights and fundamental freedoms
EHRC participated in the Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI) annual meeting held in Geneva
The event marked EHRC’s first attendance as a permanent member of the NANHRI Steering Committee

ሁሉም የሰው ልጆች እኩል ክብርና መብቶች ይዘው ነጻ ሆነው ተፈጥረዋል
አባል ሀገራት የሕፃናትን የመማር መብት ሙሉ በሙሉ እውን ለማድረግ ሁሉንም ተገቢ እርምጃዎች ይወስዳሉ። በተለይም በትምህርት ቤት ተገኝቶ ትምህርትን በቋሚነት መከታተልን ለማበረታታት እንዲሁም የተማሪዎችን ትምህርት የማቋረጥ ምጣኔ ለመቀነስ እርምጃዎችን መውሰድ አለባቸው
States Parties shall take all appropriate measures with a view to achieving the full realization of every child’s right to education and shall in particular take measures to encourage regular attendance at schools and the reduction of drop-out rate
አባል ሀገራት በሁሉም መስክ በተለይም በፖለቲካዊ፣ ማኅበራዊ፣ ኢኮኖሚያዊ እና ባህላዊ መስኮች የሴቶችን ሁለንተናዊ እድገት ለማረጋገጥና ከፍ ለማድረግ እንዲሁም ሴቶች ከወንዶች እኩል በሰብአዊ መብቶቻቸው እና መሠረታዊ ነጻነቶቻቸው መጠቀም እንዲችሉ ሕግ ማውጣትን ጨምሮ አግባብነት ያላቸውን እርምጃዎች ሁሉ መውሰድ አለባቸው
