States Parties shall take effective and appropriate measures, including through peer support, to enable persons with disabilities to attain and maintain maximum independence, full physical, mental, social and vocational ability, and full inclusion and participation in all aspects of life

አባል ሀገራት የእርስ በርስ ድጋፍን በመጠቀም ጭምር አካል ጉዳተኞች የላቀ ነጻነት፣ የተሟላ አካላዊ፣ አእምሯዊ፣ ማኅበራዊና ሞያዊ ችሎታ እንዲሁም በሁሉም የሕይወት ዘርፎች ውስጥ የተሟላ ተካታችነትና ተሳትፎ እንዲኖራቸው እና ይህንንም አስጠብቀው እንዲቀጥሉ ለማድረግ ውጤታማና ተገቢ እርምጃዎችን ይወስዳሉ

In all actions concerning children, whether undertaken by public or private social welfare institutions, courts of law, administrative authorities or legislative bodies, the best interests of the child shall be a primary consideration

በመንግሥታዊም ሆነ በግል የማኅበራዊ ደኅንነት ተቋማት፣ በፍርድ ቤቶች፣ በአስተዳደር ባለሥልጣኖች ወይም በሕግ አውጪ አካላት በሚወሰዱ ማናቸውም ሕፃናትን የሚመለከቱ እርምጃዎች የሕፃናት ደኅንነትና ጥቅም በቀዳሚነት መታሰብ አለበት

ማንኛውም ሰው በፍርድ ሊወሰን የሚገባውን ጉዳይ ለፍርድ ቤት ወይም ለሌላ በሕግ የዳኝነት ሥልጣን ለተሰጠው አካል የማቅረብና ውሳኔ ወይም ፍርድ የማግኘት መብት አለው

Everyone has the right to bring a justiciable matter to, and to obtain a decision or judgement by, a court of law or any other competent body with judicial power

ሁሉም ሕዝብ ለእድገቱ አመቺ የሆነ አጠቃላይ ተስማሚነት ያለው አካባቢ የማግኘት መብት አለው

All people shall have the right to a general satisfactory environment favourable to their development

የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ)ያሉበት ሁኔታ ሳይገለጽ በተራዘመ እስር ውስጥ የሚገኙ በአስገድዶ መሰወር ሁኔታ ውስጥ የሚገኙ ከ52 በላይ ሰዎች አቤቱታ መመርመሩን፤ የመንግሥት የጸጥታ ኃይሎች በተራዘመ እስርና አስገድዶ በመሰወር ከ1 እስከ 9 ወራት አስረው ያቆዩዋቸው ሰዎች መለቀቃቸውን በመግለጫው አትቷል
