የተባበሩት መንግሥታት ባጸደቀው "የፓሪስ መርኆዎች" በተሰኘው መለኪያ መሰረት የኢትዮጵያ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) በተአማኒነቱ ወደ ከፍተኛው ደረጃው 'ኤ' እንዲገባ ዓለም አቀፉ የብሔራዊ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ጥምረት መወሰኑ ይፋ ተደረገ።

ከጠንካራ የግምገማ ሂደት በኋላ የሚሰጠውን የዓለም አቀፉ የብሔራዊ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ተቋማት ጥምረት (Global Alliance of National Human Rights Institutions (GANHRI)) የደረጃ “A” (አንደኛ ደረጃ) እውቅና ማግኘቱ ኮሚሽኑ የፓሪስ መርሆችን ሙሉ በሙሉ ማሟላቱን የሚያሳይ ነው።
