International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights, Article 7(A)
Everyone has the right to enjoy just and favourable conditions of work.
State parties to this covenant recognize the right:
- To remuneration which provides workers, as a minimum, with fair wages and equal remuneration for work of equal value without distinction of any kind and decent living for themselves and their families;
- For women to be guaranteed conditions of work not inferior to those enjoyed by men, with equal pay for equal work.
