በዚህና በተያያዥ ጉዳዮች ላይ የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ከአማራ ክልል የመንግሥትና መንግሥታዊ ካልሆኑ ባለድርሻ አካላት ጋር በመሆን ከመጋቢት 19 እስከ 20 ቀን 2014 ዓ.ም. ድረስ ሰፊ ውይይት አድርጓል
በከረዩ የሚችሌ ገዳ የጅላ አባላት ግድያ ጉዳይ ላይ የተጀመረው የሽምግልና እና የእርቅ ሂደት፤ “የወንጀል ተጠያቂነትን መተካት ወይም ማስተጓጎል የለበትም” ሲል የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) አሳሰበ።
ስብሰባው የሚካሄድበት ቀን ከእ.ኤ.አ. 2010 ጀምሮ መጋቢት 15 ቀን የሚታሰበው ከፍተኛ የሰብአዊ መብቶች ጥሰቶችን በተመለከተ እውነቱን የማወቅ መብት እና የተጎጂዎች ሰብአዊ ክብር በዓለም አቀፍ ደረጃ የሚታሰብበት ዕለት ነው
The event also marks the International Day for the Right to the Truth concerning Gross Human Rights Violations and for the Dignity of Victims, observed each year on March 24 since 2010
