ስምምነቱን የትምህርት ሚኒስትሩ ብርሃኑ ነጋ (ፕ/ር) እና የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ዋና ኮሚሽነር ዳኤንል በቀለ (ዶ/ር) ፈርመዋል

ኢሰመኮ እንዳስታወቀዉ በየአካባቢዉ ስለሚፈናቀለዉ ሕዝብ በቂ መረጃ ባለመጠናቀሩ ለችግር ለተጋለጠዉ ተፈናቃይ የሰብዓዊ ድጋፎችን ለማቅረብ እንቅፋት ሆኗል

ኢትዮጵያ ዉስጥ ከሰኔ 2013 እስከ ሰኔ 2014 በነበረዉ አንድ ዓመት የተደረጉ ግጭቶችና ድርቅ 4.5 ሚሊዮን ሕዝብ ከየቀየዉ መፈናቀሉን የሐገሪቱ የሰብአዊ መብት ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) አስታወቀ

ኢሰመኮ በሁለት ዓመቱ የጦርነት ወቅት የተፈጸሙ የሰብአዊ መብት ጥሰቶችን የሚመለከት ተጨማሪ ምርመራ አያደርግም ያሉት ዳንኤል በቀለ (ዶ/ር)፣ ይህ የሚከናወነው የሽግግር ወቅት ፍትህን በሚመራው አካል እንደሆነም ጠቅሰዋል

የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ዋና ኮሚሽነር ዳንኤል በቀለ በበኩላቸው፤ የሟቾች ግምት ጥንቃቄ እንደሚያስፈልገው ገልጸው፣ ወደፊትም ትክክለኛው የሟቾች ቁጥር ላይታወቅ ይችላል ብለዋል

"… the Tigray People's Liberation Front (TPLF) and the Eritrean government who participated in the conflict did not accept the recommendations. We were pushing them to accept the proposal."

The African Union mediator for the Tigray war, Olusegun Obasanjo, has estimated that 600,000 people have died as a result of the conflict. But Daniel Bekele, Chief Commissioner of the Ethiopian Human Rights Commission, spoke to Focus and cautioned against using a specific figure for now
