በታኅሣሥ ወር 2014 ዓ.ም. ተይዘው የቆዩና በሁለቱ ካምፖች የሚገኙ ወደ 9,000 የሚጠጉ የትግራይ ተወላጆች ያሉበትን ሁኔታ በቦታው በመገኘት፣ በማነጋገር፣ የመንግሥት አካላትና አገልግሎት ሰጪዎችን እንዲሁም ሌሎች መንግሥታዊ ያልሆኑ ድርጅቶችን በማነጋገር ክትትል ሲያደርግ መቆየቱን ገልጿል
