የአካል ጉዳተኞች ቀንን ስናስብ ሊተገበሩ የሚችሉ ግቦችን በማስቀመጥ፣ የግቦቹን ውጤት ይፋ በማድረግ እንዲሁም የአካል ጉዳተኞችን መብቶች ለማስጠበቅ፣ ለማስፋፋት እና ለማስከበር የሚወሰዱ እርምጃዎችን ዘላቂነት በማረጋገጥ ሊሆን ይገባል

ክብረ በአሉን ከዓላማው ጋር ማጣጣም፡- በዓለም አቀፉ የአካል ጉዳተኞች ቀን የቀረበ የድረጊት ጥሪ

በኢትዮጵያ አካል ጉዳተኞች የትምህርት እድል፣ የጤና እንክብካቤ፣ የሥራ ዕድል፣ ማኅበራዊ ጥበቃ አለማግኘትን እንዲሁም በማኅበረሰቡ ዘንድ ከተንሰራፋው የተዘባ አመለካከት በሚመነጩ እንቅፋቶች ምክንያት የሚደርስ መድልዎን ጨምሮ በርካታ ተግዳሮቶች ይገጥሟቸዋል

Persons with disabilities (PwDs) in Ethiopia, face numerous challenges including lack of access to education, health care, employment, social protection, and discrimination due to attitudinal barriers prevalent in the community

State parties shall prohibit all discrimination on the basis of disability and guarantee persons with disabilities equal and effective legal protection against discrimination on all grounds

በተለያዩ ምክንያቶች እና በተፈጥሮ አካል ጉዳተኛ የሆኑትን በሚደረገው ሀገራዊ ምክክርና ውይይት ላይ ሀሳብ እንዲሰጡ እድል ሊሰጣቸው ይገባል ተባለ፡፡ ይህን ያለው የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ነው

Ratification of the Convention on Conventional Weapons and Cluster Munitions and Rights Based Approach to Victim Assistance are paramount

State parties shall take all appropriate measures to ensure that persons with disabilities can exercise the right to freedom of expression and opinion, including the freedom to seek, receive and impart information and ideas on an equal basis with others and through all forms of communication of their choice

አባል ሀገራት አካል ጉዳተኞች በመረጧቸው የመገናኛ ዘዴ ዐይነቶች ሁሉ መረጃን የመፈለግ፣ የመቀበል እና የማሰራጨት ነጻነትን ጨምሮ ከሌሎች ጋር በእኩልነት ሐሳብን በነጻነት የመያዝ እና የመግለጽ መብቶቻቸውን መጠቀም እንዲችሉ ተገቢውን ሁሉ እርምጃ ሊወስዱ ይገባል

አካል ጉዳተኞች እና አረጋዊያን የተመለከቱ ህጎች እና ተቋማዊ ማዕቀፎች እንዲዘጋጁ የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን ተናገረ

አካል ጉዳተኞች እና አረጋውያን ከተቋማዊ የአሠራር ክፍተቶችና ከተሳሳቱ አመለካከቶች የተነሳ የሚገጥሟቸውን መሰናክሎች ለመቅረፍ ወጥ ተቋማዊ መዋቅር መዘርጋት እንደሚያስፈልግም ነዉ የገለጸዉ
