African Youth Charter, Article 10 (1) & (3) (a) (b)
- Every young person shall have the right to social, economic, political and cultural development with due regard to their freedom and identity and in equal enjoyment of the common heritage of mankind.
States Parties shall:
- Encourage the media to disseminate information that will be of economic, political, social and cultural benefit to youth;
- Promote the development of youth media for the dissemination of information to young people.
