ማንኛውም ሰው በሕይወት የመኖር ተፈጥሯዊ መብት አለው። ይህ መብት በሕግ ሊከበር ይገባል፤ ማንኛውም ሰው ያላግባብ ሕይወቱን ሊነፈግ አይገባም
Every human being has the inherent right to life. This right shall be protected by law. No one shall be arbitrarily deprived of his life
ለማንኛውም ዓላማ በሰው የመነገድ ተግባር የተከለከለ ነው
Trafficking in human beings for whatever purpose is prohibited
ማንኛውም አካል ጉዳተኛ ሰው ዘርን፣ ጎሳን፣ የቆዳ ቀለምን፣ ጾታን፣ ቋንቋን፣ ሃይማኖትን፣ ፖለቲካን ወይም በሌላ ዐይነት አመለካከት፣ በብሔራዊ ወይም ማኅበራዊ መሠረትን፣ ሃብትን፣ ትውልድን ወይም ሌላ ሁኔታን ጨምሮ በማንኛውም ምክንያት ማንኛውም ዐይነት ልዩነት ሳይደረግበት በዚህ ፕሮቶኮል ውስጥ ዕውቅናና ዋስትና የተሰጣቸው መብቶች እና ነጻነቶችን የማግኘት እና የመጠቀም መብት አለው
Every person with a disability shall be entitled to the enjoyment of the rights and freedoms recognised and guaranteed in this Protocol without distinction of any kind on any ground including, race, ethnic group, colour, sex, language, religion, political or any other opinion, national and social origin, fortune, birth or any status
እያንዳንዱ አባል ሀገር በሕግ ሥርዓቱ ውስጥ የማሠቃየት ተግባር ሰለባ የሆነ ሰው መፍትሔ እንደሚያገኝ እንዲሁም በተቻለ መጠን የተሟላ ማገገሚያን ጨምሮ ተፈጻሚነት ያለው ፍትሐዊና በቂ ካሳ የማግኘት መብት እንዳለው ማረጋገጥ አለበት
Each State Party shall ensure in its legal system that the victim of an act of torture obtains redress and has an enforceable right to fair and adequate compensation, including the means for as full rehabilitation as possible
አባል ሀገራት በሴቶች ላይ የሚፈጸሙ ሁሉም ዐይነት ጥቃቶችን የሚከለክሉ ሕጎችን ለማውጣት እና ለማስፈጸም ተገቢ እና ውጤታማ እርምጃዎችን መውሰድ አለባቸው
States Parties shall take appropriate and effective measures to enact and enforce laws to prohibit all forms of violence against women
