አባል ሀገራት በሁሉም መስክ በተለይም በፖለቲካዊ፣ ማኅበራዊ፣ ኢኮኖሚያዊ እና ባህላዊ መስኮች የሴቶችን ሁለንተናዊ እድገት ለማረጋገጥና ከፍ ለማድረግ እንዲሁም ሴቶች ከወንዶች እኩል በሰብአዊ መብቶቻቸው እና መሠረታዊ ነጻነቶቻቸው መጠቀም እንዲችሉ ሕግ ማውጣትን ጨምሮ አግባብነት ያላቸውን እርምጃዎች ሁሉ መውሰድ አለባቸው

States Parties shall take in all fields, in particular in the political, social, economic and cultural fields, all appropriate measures, including legislation, to ensure the full development and advancement of women, for the purpose of guaranteeing them the exercise and enjoyment of human rights and fundamental freedoms on a basis of equality with men

EHRC has engaged key stakeholders to resolve the issue through dialogue and prioritizing human rights

ኢሰመኮ ከሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ባለሥልጣን እና ከታገዱት የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ጋር ተደጋጋሚ ውይይቶችን በማድረግ ለጉዳዩ መፍትሔ ለማስገኘት ሢሠራ ቆይቷል

ኢሰመኮ ባደረገው ጥረትም በአራቱ የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ላይ ተጥሎ የነበረው እገዳ ከዛሬ የካቲት 24 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም. ጀምሮ መነሳቱን አስታውቋል

የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ባለሥልጣን እግድ ጥሎባቸው የነበሩ አራት የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች የተጣለባቸው እገዳ መነሳቱን የኢትዮጵያ ሰብአዊ መብቶች ኮሚሽን (ኢሰመኮ) አስታውቋል

የአዋጁን ውጤታማ አተገባበር ለማረጋገጥ ሁሉም ባለድርሻ አካላት በቁርጠኝነት መሥራት አለባቸው

ኢሰመኮ በሰብአዊ መብቶች ላይ ከሚሠሩ የሲቪል ማኅበረሰብ ድርጅቶች ጋር በትብብርና በቅንጅት መሥራቱን አጠናክሮ ይቀጥላል

በማረሚያ ቤቶች ያሉ ችግሮችን በዘላቂነት ለመቅረፍና የታራሚዎችን የሰብአዊ መብቶች አያያዝ ለማሻሻል የሁሉንም ባለድርሻ አካላት ርብርብና የተቀናጀ ሥራ ይጠይቃል
